After splurging on your desired expensive bag, taking good care of it is your next agenda. A designer bag is an investment; an investment that you can inherit to your daughter. Proper handbag care will ensure you that you get your money's worth.
Here are the following bag care tips:
1. Store it in its dust bag cover to ensure that moist will not enter.
2. Place newspaper or shredded paper inside the bag so it won't be deformed and attract moths.
3. Handle your bag with clean hands.
4. If your bag has a chain handle, store the chain inside the bag so it won't scratch the outside leather when it is resting.
5. Use bag liners or organizers. It is designed to protect your bags from make up, lotions and perfume spill.
6. Before cleaning your bag, check the tags for manufacturer's tips and suggestions.
7. Do not expose your leather bags directly to the sunlight. Not only the sunlight will fade its color, it will dry up its natural oil content making it brittle and cracked.

9. Make sure you are not over stuffing your bag with heavy items like books.
